There are weddings that feel like magic from start to finish, and Elizabeth and Chance’s wedding in West Palm Beach was one of them. From heartfelt moments to vibrant celebrations, this day was filled with joy, laughter, and unforgettable memories, all set against the stunning backdrop of West Palm Beach.
The day began at a cozy Airbnb where the bridal party prepared in two separate suites – one for the bridesmaids and one for the groomsmen. There was excitement in the air as we made sure Elizabeth and Chance didn’t see each other before the first look. That beautiful moment was reserved for Liz’s entrance of St. Ann’s Catholic Church, where they would see each other for the first time in a traditional setting. The ceremony, blending Spanish and English for the couple’s family and friends, was full of love and reverence, celebrating not only their bond but also the union of families and cultures.
One of the most joyful moments of the day was right after the ceremony, as Elizabeth and Chance exited the church. Awaiting them was a lively mariachi band., which played traditional tunes as guests joined the newlyweds in a festive walk towards the Lake Pavilion reception venue. Documenting this parade-like walk, with music filling the air and guests cheering and walking along with colorful tassels, was one of my favorite moments as their wedding photographer, capturing every laugh, dance, and joyful tear.
As we reached Lake Pavilion, Mariachi band kept playing and guests started dancing and singing along as they had welcome drinks and mingled.
The evening unfolded with a beautiful first dance between the bride and groom, setting the tone for an incredible celebration. Next, a delicious dinner was served from caterer Laura Ashley which guests enjoyed. Speeches from maid of honor and best man were special and provided warm moments before the party started.
With a perfect blend of South Florida’s beauty and cultural traditions, the evening was filled with lively moments, including the vibora de la mar, a spirited Mexican wedding tradition. Guests lined up to dance with the bride and groom, filling the room with laughter and energy. As the DJ kept the hits coming, Chance shared tequila with everyone on the dance floor, getting the dancing started quickly. An amazing sax player joined in, adding an unforgettable musical vibe that made the night feel electric.
Throughout the day, a talented team of vendors helped bring Elizabeth and Chance’s dream wedding to life. The event was seamlessly coordinated by the amazing team at Unbridled Events, who ensured everything flowed smoothly. The stunning makeup, thanks to Dee DelGlam, had Elizabeth looking radiant in every shot. And capturing all of these moments in motion was the skilled videographer, Steadfast Weddings who preserved every moment with artistry and dedication.
Elizabeth and Chance’s wedding was a perfect example of why I love being a South Florida Wedding Photographer. It was a beautiful day full of meaningful traditions, laughter, and connection. Documenting weddings like these in West Palm Beach and throughout Fort Lauderdale and beyond, I’m reminded why wedding photography is so powerful: every celebration is a unique love story, one that deserves to be told and remembered for a lifetime.
