There’s something truly magical about capturing a couple as they prepare to welcome new life into the world. Alex and Todd’s maternity session took place on a breezy morning by the beach in Lauderdale by the Sea, and the soft light, swaying palms, and peaceful waves made for the dreamiest backdrop.
From the very beginning, it was clear how excited and connected these two are. Their quiet smiles, gentle touches, and the way they looked at each other—and at the tiny ultrasound photo they brought—spoke volumes about their journey into parenthood.
We walked along the shore, enjoying the breeze and the golden light. Alex and Todd were up for anything—from playful laughter to quiet, intimate moments that showcased the calm joy of anticipation. This of course made my time with them so easy, capturing plenty of candid moments between them.
One of my favorite moments from this beach session was when they held up their ultrasound printout, standing barefoot in the sand. It felt like a quiet pause in time—a reminder that this fleeting chapter deserves to be celebrated and remembered.
