Fort Lauderdale Couples Photography: A marriage proposal by the beach

A beautiful moment.

As typical in Florida, it started pouring rain fifteen minutes before Hannah and Drake arrived at El Prado Park, in Lauderdale by the Sea. A beautiful picnic was set up by talented Blue Island Picnics, and as we were waiting and hoping for better weather, the beach started to clear.

Drake and Hannah arrived and as he started to open the champagne, he handed it to Hannah so she could open it, and while she was busy, he kneeled with the ring in hand and asked the most important question. Hannah immediately said yes, and just like that it stopped raining!

They had a moment to toast and share the good news with friends and family via facetime, while they enjoyed their picnic. I’m thankful I got the opportunity to document this special moment in both their lives.
