I’m Florencia Rodriguez Lomelí, founder and creative lead of Florencia RL. Originally from Mexico, I now call sunny South Florida home, where I document meaningful moments for families, couples, and growing communities.
Photography is more than just a job for me; it’s my passion. As a Fort Lauderdale photographer, I specialize in family photography, couples sessions- including engagements and “just because” moments – and social events. My approach is rooted in connection and authenticity, focusing on real interactions, natural light, and the in-between moments that often mean the most.
From intimate family gatherings to joyful celebrations, my goal is to create timeless images that feel honest, emotional, and true to you. Photographs that can be felt just as much as they are seen.

I had an amazing experience working with Florencia for an engagement photoshoot! We did a sunrise shoot on the beach, and it started raining about 10 minutes into the shoot. It rained the entire rest of the time, but Florencia stayed in the rain with us finishing out the shoot! I was so nervous to get the pictures back because of the rain, but they turned out AMAZING!!! I couldn’t recommend using her more – she is the best!!
Florencia is AMAZING! Our pictures from our bridal photoshoot turned out even better than we had imagined. My fiancé and I are by no means used to getting our pictures professionally taken but she made us feel very comfortable and gave us a ton of guidance and direction which made the shoot so much fun! 10/10 would recommend.
